He was affiliated with Ramakrishna Mission Hospital Homoeopathic OPD, which was a leading hospital during those days and worked for 15 years.  

Brief Profile

The Founder – Late Dr. Pravin Shah began his practice more than 5 decades ago, at a time when the name Homoeopathy was practically unknown.  Initially he was strongly discouraged to take up Homoeopathy by his friends and family because of its anonymity. However, persistence, dedication and perseverance eventually brought in success.  During his college days he tried several cases with very good results which motivated him even further to study and practice Homoeopathy. After receiving his LCEH qualification he started his practice. Initially patients were scarce & hence he began to visit Institutions viz. Kora Gramodyog Kendra, which was one of the village industries and began a charitable service free of cost to bring about awareness into the field of Homoeopathy.

Academics:

Simultaneously he also started working in the Homoeopathic College and was appointed as a Committee member of Homoeopathic Education Society.  Later he was also appointed as a board examiner for the Homoeopathic study examinations.

Professional Achievements:

He joined the Santacruz Residence Association’s, Smt. BCJ General Hospital Santacruz in which he was asked to start a Homoeopathic OPD. This was one of the first hospitals to begin a Homoeopathy OPD, where he worked for 25 years & was honored with an award for lifetime association with this hospital.

He began an independent practice and setup his own private clinic. He also joined a Mobile (Van) Homoeopathy Dispensary which would travel all over the city of Mumbai, where he worked for 20 years. This Mobile Dispensary was first of its kind run by Yogesh Institute of Services by Sarla Charity Trust.

All the above was an experience gaining opportunity handling different types of ailments.
